The Grail Priests of Avalon

The Isle of Avalon, known for its magic and mystery was home to the grail priests and kings of the land. The priests of Avalon were initiated to serve The Great Mystery and Creation through the mysteries of Avalon. Their role, in relation to the Lady of The Lake and The Lady of Avalon, was to steward and protect the fertility and life force of the earth and the land. As the mounds, hills and sacred springs were portals in Avalon, grail priests have historically gravitated towards living and serving the land in these areas. This is because their soul’s mission is deeply connected and a part of serving in conscious communion with Gaia and The Lady of Avalon.

The priesthood carries and holds an ancient covenant to provide a clear, pure and protected space for initiates of Avalon to serve through. When they have fulfilled their mission there is often a shifting and changing of the guard, whereby the responsibility the grail priest had accepted is inherited by another grail priest through The Lady of Avalon.

The succession rites are received by those that Gaia, The Lady of Avalon and The Lady of The Lake deem worthy to hold that post and to serve without creating misalignment, distortion or inversion.

The land represents the ancient primordial creative force of the earth through Avalon. Priests, therefore, are those initiates that can directly commune, receive and work with the codes in the land to facilitate the restoration of balance, harmony and peace on earth. Their temple is Avalon, She, the land and their communion with her consecrates their commitment to Source.
